Usage Warnings:

1. Lead is a toxic material. Ensure proper protective clothing is worn when handling molds and be cautious when heating and pouring lead.
2. Use dry molds, as water can cause the molten lead to explode and cannot be handled properly.
3. When disposing of unwanted lead, consult your local authority about appropriate methods.

Steps for use before pouring:

Preheat the mold before use. Place the scrap lead into a saucepan and heat until molten (lead normally melts at 650 degrees Fahrenheit). Once the lead has melted, use a cooking spoon to remove any impurities that have risen to the top. If making a sinker that requires a hole in the center, place the hanger wire into the mold. Use the matching pliers to carefully grasp the sides of the mold with the pouring cavity facing you.

Pouring step:

After the above steps are complete, pour the molten lead into the mold until the cavity is filled. Wait 10 seconds, then use pliers to pull out the wire (if applicable) and proceed to open the mold. Use pliers to cut off the excess lead on the top of the sinker, and the production is complete.
